Xie Mian

¡¡ Born in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, 1932. Beijing University, Beijing, B.A. in Chinese language and literature, 1960. Professor and Ph.D.Supervisor of Department of Chinese Literature, Director of Institute of Chinese Language and Literature, Beijing University; Member of the Academic Committee of Research Center of Chinese Poetry, Capital Normal University; Member of the Executive Council of China Writers¡¯Association, Vice-Chairman of Beijing Writers¡¯ Association, Vice-Director of China Contemporary Literature Studies Society; Editor of Poetry Exploration.

¡¡ Recipient: The Prize of Achievement in Chinese Literature by Contemporary Chinese Literature Society in 2000.
